Soeller, Alois J. “Al”

DELMAR- Alois J. “Al” Soeller, 79, of Delmar and Arizona, died suddenly on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY he graduated from Saint John’s University and lived in Delmar since 1962. Mr. Soeller worked for the New York State Dept. of Civil Service for 30 years.Most recently he enjoyed hiking in Arizona and was a volunteer with many organizations both here and in Arizona.

Husband of the late Gertrude “Ginger” Soeller; father of Michael Soeller of Voorheesville and Lawrence (Susan) Soeller of Middletown; grandfather of Thomas, Brian, Kerry and Gary Soeller. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Cynthia Estes.

A Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with the family prior to the service from 4 to 6 p.m.
