Morone, Nancy T.

DELMAR- Nancy (Somma) Morone, 93, died Thursday August 29, 2013 at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olympia (Garguila) Somma. She was a homemaker and communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Mrs. Morone was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge.

She was wife of the late Anthony (Tony) Morone; beloved mother of Marilyn McGuiness of Delmar, Rosemarie Mosmen of Delmar; sister of Emily Calciano and the late Ida Somma and Vince Somma; grandmother of James (Courtney) McGuiness. Brian (Kimberly) McGuiness, Dr. Jennifer (Sean Murphy) Mosmen, Kevin Mosmen and Craig (Cassandra) Mosmen; mother-in-law of the late Arnold (Bud) Mosmen; also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday September 4, 2013 in the chapel at Our Lady of Hope Residence, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend,
