ALBANY- Jane M. Woods, 90, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Ogdensburg, NY she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Maude (Adams) Woods. Miss Woods was a retiree of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, having been employed in Washington, D.C. and the Albany Field Office. She was later employed by NYS Division of Audit and Control. Miss Woods was a Communicant of Historic St. Mary’s Church on Capitol Hill and a member of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society, The Legion of Mary, the Association Jeanne Jugan, LSP, a volunteer at St. Peter’s Hospital and a member of the Society of FBI Alumni.
She is survived by her brother Robert F. Woods of Sheridan, WY and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold and William Woods and sisters Eleanor Geary and Elizabeth Woods.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 8:45 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany thence to Historic St. Mary’s Church on Capitol Hill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 5-7 pm. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
