Williams, Joan S.

ALBANY-Joan (Snow) Williams, 87, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Ornat) Snow. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold H. Williams, Sr.; her son, Gary P. Williams; her grandson, Harold and three brothers, Eugene, Joseph and Ronald Snow. Survivors include her son, Harold H. “Butch” Williams, Jr. (Martha Cinnamon); daughter-in-law Kathy Williams; grandchildren, Jessica Allen and Jason Williams; great-grandchildren, Erin and Riley Allen, Troy Williams and Jason Williams, Jr.; her aunt, Evelyn Williams; several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joan’s family on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
