Weatherwax, Gary F.

ADDISON, VT- Gary F. Weatherwax, 62, died Friday April 1, 2011 at his home in Addison VT. Born in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Edward F. and Helen R. (Little) Weatherwax. Mr. Weatherwax was an officer with the Albany City Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1992. He served in the Army reserves and was a member of Sheehey Palmer VFW 6776.

Gary loved living in Vermont on Lake Champlain. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Kelsch) Weatherwax his daughter Rebecca Fountain her husband Kevin, Michelle Tober her husband David and Stepson Ed Batchelder. His grandchildren Kevin and Hannah, his brother Edward T. Weatherwax and wife Frances. His many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday April 5, 2011 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Monday April 4, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
