Wagner, Mary Reesa

ALBANY- Mary “Reesa” (Cohen) Wagner, 69, died after a brief illness, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn.

Born October 16, 1943 in Albany she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Rosenberg) Cohen. Mrs. Wagner graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. She worked at various children’s clothing stores for years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending summers at her camp, Frosty Acres. Mrs. Wagner loved her pet birds “McGee” and “Captain”.

Beloved wife of 50 years of Everett Ellsworth Wagner, Jr.; loving mother of Heidi Lynn Wagner Monte (Richard Monte) of Sloansville, and Michael A. Wagner (Toni Penzabene Wagner) of Selkirk: sister of Donna (Richard) Baker: sister-in-law of Edward (Juanita) Wagner: also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Juanita, Eddie, Mark, Nicole and Michelle for being there for “Aunt Reesa” and also for the kindness of the nurses at St. Peter’s ICU and the Hospice Inn.
