Voss, Nina

ALBANY- Nina Voss, 97, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by family.Born in New Salem, NY, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Maida Countryman. She retired from Lodges Department Store. Mrs Voss enjoyed sitting on the porch and visiting with neighbors as the “Queen of Irving Street." She loved playing bingo up until her final days with her friend Frank.

She was the devoted wife of 64 years of the late Albert A. Voss; mother of Lydia (John) Coffey and Albert (Patty) Voss ; sister of Lydia and the late Aldin, Effie, Elmer, Edward and Myrtle; loving grandmother of Albie (Kristy), Kelly, Terri, Danny and Mikey; She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00pm the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. concluding with words of remembrance at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
