Villasenor, James F.

RAVENA- James F. Villasenor, 58, died Friday, March 8, 2013 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Albany he was the son of the late Joseph and Mariana (Hopkins) Villasenor.

At the time of his death he was the owner and broker of Bethlehem Realty in Glenmont. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Army Corps of Engineers.

Husband of 33 years to Mildred (Weisel) Villasenor; father of James (Allison) Villasenor and Marisa Villasenor of Albany; brother of Nan (Eivion) Williams of Clifton Park, Elena (Joseph) Turley of Albany and Mark (Barbara) Donahue of Ballston Spa; grandfather of Alexander and Madeline Villasenor. He is also survived by his faithful canine companions Max and Smitty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church (formerly St. James Church) 391 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Monday March 11, 2013 from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Ravena Rescue Squad, 19 Russell Ave., Ravena, NY 12143.
