TRICOMI, BRIDGET


ALBANY- Bridget Tricomi (Aunt Bea), 79 died Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Albany County Nursing Home after a long illness. Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Lucy (Malatesta) Tricomi.

Aunt Bea worked for the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance for many years. Upon retirement she worked several years for the Albany Public Schools in food service. She enjoyed traveling, casinos and playing bingo as well as spending time with her nieces and nephews and their families. Aunt Bea was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church in Albany. She was the sister of Marie Kavanagh, Frank Tricomi, Vincent Tricomi, Josephine Spano and the late Mario and Joseph Tricomi and Marguerite Martello; sister-in-law of Andrew Martello and the late Pat Tricomi, Joy Tricomi and James Kavanagh. Aunt Bea is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Her family would like to thank Dr. Michael Gardner for his compassion and friendship. A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited.
