Tangora, Angelo J.

DELMAR- Angelo James Tangora of Niskayuna formerly of Delmar,

died peacefully on November 12, 2012 after a courageous battle with two forms of cancer. Born June 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Philip and Lena (Tornatore) Tangora. Angelo attended Albany schools. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1955 aboard the USS Charles R Ware. He was in 29 ports of call during his service and served in the Korean War. After his service he was a Master Carpenter with Local #370 Carpenters Union for 50 years. Angelo was proud of all of his work, which included, Berkshire Bridge, construction of the South Mall in Albany, renovations to the Governor
