Swart, Geraldine F.

BERNE – Geraldine F. Swart, 83, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Born in Lowville, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna May Downey.

Geraldine worked for many yearsat the former Albany Public Market and Grand Union before retiring from Price Chopper just a few years ago. She loved living in the country, mowing her lawn and relaxing with her beloved cats.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Archer. She is survived by her son William Swart; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.
