Sullivan, Frank J.

ALBANY- Frank J. Sullivan, 92, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born and educated in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late D. Frank and Emma (Willett) Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was an accountant for Construction Sales Corporation in Albany for 35 years retiring in 1974. He was a Communicant of St. James Church. Mr. Sullivan was an avid New York Yankees fan and was lucky enough to be present to witness Don Larsen’s “Perfect Game” in the 1956 World Series.

He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Patterson) Sullivan; father of Jeffrey (Donna) Sullivan of Albany and Christine (Mike Gallo) Sullivan of West Haven, Ct.; brother of the late Robert Sullivan; grandfather of Sean (Tam) Sullivan, Kelli (Steve) Moore, Kevin (Courtney) Sullivan and Ryan (Crystal) Sullivan; great-grandfather of Joey and Jack Moore, Piper, Gavin, Connor, Danny, Katie, Addie and Logan Sullivan; brother-in-law of Catherine Sullivan of Taylor, MI and Genevieve Sutton of Modesto, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a heartfelt “Thank You” to Frank’s special caregivers from Loving Touch Care; Dea, Dory, Gert, Jessica, Jim, Jody, Kim, Michelle, Robert and, Tamara.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly St. James Church) 391 Delaware Ave. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 4 to 7 pm. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery in So. Glens Falls.
