Skelly, Elvira E.

RUTLAND, VT- Elvira E. Skelly, 96, formerly of Albany died peacefully, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Rutland. Born in Albany, she was a homemaker and longtime communicant of the former Our Lady Help of Christians Church.

She was wife of the late Thomas P. Skelly, Sr.; mother of Thomas P. Skelly, Jr. and his wife Charline of Rutland, grandmother of Michael Skelly and Colleen (Steve) Pietryka; great-grandmother of Sarah and Seth Pietryka; sister of Frank Riccardi and the late William Riccardo, Berma Sano, Mary Neander and Josephine Pennello; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
