Simmons, Rosa

Rosa was such a free spirited, lively, generous, and boundless person that whomever crossed her path, enjoyed being in her company. She was also a very caring, loving, welcoming, warm, genuine, and highly favored woman. Her love for dancing was full of excitement. Anytime she heard one of her favorite songs at the time playing, it had everyone around, cheering her on, doing her famous dance move (dropping it low to the floor.) She also will be remembered for her most said phrase line “come on now.” Regardless of the trials and tribulations Rosa encountered in life, she fought and triumphed through it all, in the end being triumphant with her optimistic and empathetic spirit. “Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, But the Lord rescues him from them all”. Psalms 34:19

Visitation for Rosa will be held on Monday August 17, 2020 from 10-11 am at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany.

In accordance with mandated health guidelines, all guests must wear masks, observe social distancing inside and out during the visitation and limit of 30 people allowed inside the building, at any given time.

Homegoing Services will be held privately for the immediate family.
