ALBANY- James Michael Francis Sheridan, 99, died Friday, February 17, 2012, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a short illness.

Jim worked for Con Edison for 44 years and had been retired for 37. He was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Ellen Margaret and daughter Patricia Kennedy.

Left to mourn him are his son James (Peggy Connors) Sheridan and grandchildren, Brian, Ellen and Robert Kennedy and Jacob Sheridan;, his son-in-law Robert Kennedy and his wife Eileen and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was from a family of six children. He and his brother Joseph Sheridan, who died at age 98, were the sole survivors. Both died within a week of each other. Joseph
