COEYMANS HOLLOW - Sharon E. Van Vranken, 77, passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2024. She was born on June 2, 1947 to the late Harold and Ethel Van Vranken. Sharon worked in Selkirk at Security Supply Corp., where she devoted many years until her retirement. She cherished her lifelong career and memories. Sharon enjoyed many wonderful years of league bowling with her parents, who appeared on TV Tournament Time. Sharon was a strong, loving, and very special woman. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, and the outdoors, as well as traveling the world with many close friends and family. She was the loving lifetime partner of Pasquale Pagano. They were blessed with many fond and happy memories of strong and loyal lifetime friendships that they both had cherished every day.
Sharon is survived by her sister, Carroll DeBrocky; brother-in-law, John DeForge; and seven nieces and nephews, Cynthia and James DeBrocky, and Dawn, Deanne, Danielle, Brian, and Matthew Van Vranken. She was predeceased by her sister, Audrey; her brother, Arthur; and sister-in-law, Bernadette DeForge.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 18th from 11am to 1pm at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany, followed by a service at 1pm. She will then be interred in Graceland Cemetery. Condolences can be posted at danielkeenanfuneralhome.com.
