Sharon L. Bruder

Sharon L. Bruder, 75 of Albany, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 1, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

Sharon was surrounded by her beloved family.

It would be wrong to say that Sharon lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken,

Sharon stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Sharon. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight.

Sharon is survived by her beloved brother Alfred J. (Robin) Calordino, Her daughter Cherie Griffin, her sons Alan (Donna) Pritty Jr, Joshua (Nikki) Bruder, and Zachary Bruder. Sharon is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Dowd, Alexandra Griffin, Victoria Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Samantha Paul, Katrina Lee, Alan Pritty III, Tessa Bruder whom shared a special bond with her "Ma". They were two peas in a pod and best friends, Logan Bruder, Chase Bruder, Jack Bruder, Brantley Bruder, Remi Bruder, Emmitt Bruder, Zachary Bruder Jr. and Levi Bruder. Sharon was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Christian Rathbun, Natalie Joy Pinckney, and Luca Pritty.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday November 10, 2023, from 10 am to 12 noon at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209 and a burial will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.  All are welcome.
