SCHENECTADY- Effie (Countryman) Seidel, 99, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 20, 1911 in New Salem, NY she was the daughter of the late Allen and Effie (Boughton) Countryman. Mrs. Seidel was

a senior clerk with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a long time member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.

Mrs. Seidel was the wife of the late Rudolph Seidel; mother of the late Edward A. Voight and Frederick B. Voight; grandmother of John Voight and the late Susan Voight; sister of Aldin Countryman, Nina Voss, Lydia Coons, and the late Edward Countryman; great-grandmother of Kathryn, Ahjahnae, Serena and Sierra
