COLONIE – Patricia Sears passed away on October 28, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Josephine (DiNova) Busch, her sister Lynn, and brother Kevin. She is survived by siblings Mark and Pat, Kathy, and Donna. Her children Teri and Barry, David and Rachel, Robert and Angela, and Brian. Her grandchildren Morgan, Tyler, Brady and Lauren.

The biggest joy in Patricia’s life was spending time with her friends and family. You could find her having lunch with life-long friends, on the side lines of her grandchildren’s games, or planning her next road trip. She was selfless, loving, and adventurous. Her grandchildren’s fondest memories are “Grandma adventures” where they would frequently get lost in route to their destination but would always find the next best adventure.

Patty said she was most grateful in life for: “My children, my grandchildren, my friends, two jobs that I loved, my brothers and sisters, my nieces and nephews”

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov 3 at 12 noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany with her cousin Rev. Joseph Busch officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with her family at the Church prior to the Mass from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Inurnment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
