Russo, Donald A.

ALBANY- Donald A. “Uncle Donny” Russo, born in 1951, joined the heavenly Band in the Sky on Monday morning October 2, 2017. Not a single moment of Donny’s 66 years was either wasted or forgotten. The love he had for life was only rivaled by the love he had for his friends and family.

He was born in Albany to L. Diane Russo and the late Rocco L. Russo. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the love of his life Monique Bariteau, his brother Rocco L. Russo II (Judy), his sister Arlene Rappoccio (Paul), Ruth Fuhrmann (Paul); his children by choice Angel Armao, Danielle Dogias, Jason and Joseph Alindato, Johnathon Cappadona, Jason Hake, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday October 6, from 3-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7, at 10:30 am at Historic St. Mary’s Church on Capitol Hill. Internment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
