Ruff, Priscilla D.

GLENMONT- Priscilla D. (Cummings) Ruff, 84, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born and Educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late John Cummings and Dorothy (Smith) Cummings Kayser. Mrs. Ruff worked for the NYS Thruway Authority for more than 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle. She enjoyed camping, Disney World and going on cruises.

Wife of the late Raymond F. Ruff who died in 2008; mother of Linda (Michael) Roberts, JoAnn (Michael) Audino and Laura Rogozinski; grandmother of Anthony (Kerri) Audino, Tracey (Christopher) Blaney, Amy (Jason) Jones and Kelly (Gregory) Melita; great-grandmother of Gabriella and Michael Audino, Connor, Patrick and Clare Blaney and Parker Jones; sister of John (the late Saundra) Cummings. She is also survived by her good friend Richard Rogozinski and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 9 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road Schuylerville, NY 12871. Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road., Albany, New York 12205.
