Roshick, Susan

GLENMONT- Susan Roshick, 76, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Auburn, NY in 1942 to Frank and Elizabeth Roshick. As a child she moved to Albany with her family and graduated from Vincentian Institute. Susan proudly worked for over 20 years in administration for the Stratton VA Medical Center before retiring in 1999.

In her free time, Suzie enjoyed trips to Turning Stone, playing bingo and scrabble, and supporting her grandchildren in their activities and sporting events.

She was the loving mother of Kathy Borden Oliver (Rich) of Glenmont and the late Kenny Borden; sister of Jack Roshick of Colonie and Tom Roszak of Rochester; devoted grandmother of Jes Grosman (Tim) of Ramsey, NJ, Eric and Kacie Oliver of Glenmont; and proud great-grandmother of Colton Grosman. She is also survived by her niece and nephew Julie and Jake Roszak as well as many cousins and special friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Thursday, May 10, from 4-6:30 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany followed by a prayer service.
