Robert Andrew Bolles

Robert Andrew Bolles passed away Friday November 3, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's.

He was born in Conroe Texas to Kathleen and Charles Bolles on September 3, 1943, and had just recently celebrated his 80th birthday complete with party hats and noise makers.

Bob, as he was affectionately called by those who loved him, lived life with infectious joy and in constant search of adventure.  His glass was always half full no matter the circumstances.  He was a talented piano player, often delighting those around him with impromptu sing-alongs filled with unending laughter.

He loved the outdoors and almost any day could be found camping, hiking, kayaking or fishing.  He was a talented woodworker and creator, and many happy hours were spent in his "shop."

Bob was a lifelong friend of "Bill," and he never stopped fighting to rise above his challenges.  Even in his own battles, he was a mentor to many and would never turn away a soul in need.  His heart was enormous.

He lit up any room he entered, and his silly antics and unconditional love will be fiercely missed by those who loved him.

He is survived by his two daughters, Julie Kathleen and Anna Marie; four granddaughters, Madeline, Julianna, Edith and Frances; and a sister, Kay.  A memorial service will be planned later at the convenience of the family.
