Reinhardt, Frederick J.

ALBANY-Frederick J. Reinhardt, 80, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home where he had received excellent care for the past three years. Born in Chicago, IL., he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Eleanor (Kannanberg) Reinhardt. Fred served his country as a Corporal in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Peoples Gas in Chicago for 30 years. Fred lived in Albany for the last 15 years. He was a Communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi, a member of the Focolare Movement and had been a member of the American Legion while living in Chicago.

Beloved husband of 55 years of Mary (Liewergen) Reinhardt; father of Karen (Eric) Pansegro of Albany, Glenn (Louise) Reinhardt of Chicago, Laura (Danny) Fallon of Albany and Janet Reinhardt of Herkimer; grandfather of David, Jesse, Sara, Alex and Kitty; great-grandfather of Jake and Seth; brother of LaVergne (Edward) Stevens of Schiller Park, IL and the late Elaine Reinhardt and Lorraine Reinhardt. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Parish of Mater Christi, Albany. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. There will be no public calling hours.
