Randall, Richard Scott

DELMAR- Richard Scott Randall, 62, known as Scooter, Scotty, French Fry and Papa, gained his angel wings at home on January 16, 2022, as he lost a battle to brain cancer.

His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.

Scott was a dedicated hard worker at Clean Harbors for over 30 years which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed working the fry stand “Uncle Spuds” over the summers. He loved spending time with his family and friends or watching football and kicking back with his buddies at the legion. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved half Ruth and his grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his beloved half Ruth VanDenburg; children Tara VanDenburg, Michael VanDenburg, Brianna Giaminelli; grandchildren Riley, Amina, Ivey, Hazel and Jordan. He is also survived by family and friends in Massachusetts and his best friend “Pooches”.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 28that 5 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with his family prior to the service from 2-5 pm. Masks are required for all in attendance.
