Phillips, Janet D.

ALBANY- Janet D. Phillips, 85, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of Francis E. and Dorothy (Fox) Dwyer.

Janet was a Comptometer Operator for many years with the D&H Railroad in Albany and she was a Communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi.

Janet was predeceased by her husband John H. Phillips, Jr., son Kevin J. Phillips and her brothers Francis and James Dwyer. She is survived by her children Barbara (Mark) DiPace and Timothy (Bernadette Snyder) Phillips as well as her grandchildren Lauren DiPace Konsul, Christopher (Nichole) and Matthew (Stephanie) DiPace, JohnHenry and William Phillips; her sister Joan (Don) Malenfant; sisters-in-law Eileene Phillips and Joan Dwyer; several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:30 am in the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family prior to the Mass from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to The Parish of Mater Christi.
