Peseka, Carole S.

GLENMONT- Carole S. (Albert) Peseka, 76, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Carole was born in Albany. She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth “Betty” (Strokes) Albert. A graduate of the former Philip Schuyler High School, Carole worked as a secretary for the NYS Police. She was a devoted bingo and casino player and loved playing with her cat, Minnie.

Beloved wife of 56 years of Robert L. Peseka, Sr.; cherished mother of Peter (Connie) Peseka of Selkirk, Kimberly Reynolds of Glenmont and Robert (Ruthann) Peseka, Jr. of East Durham; adored grandmother of Kevin (Jennifer) Kuebler, Jonathan (Glorianne Ocasio) Reynolds, Amanda (Gabriel Ochoa Diaz) Reynolds, Matthew (Jenna Dwyer) Peseka and Makayla (David Jackson) Peseka; sister of Janice Bardon of Troy, Sharon (Paul) Roark of Colonie and the late Gail (late Jim) Marcy. She is also survived by her treasured great-grandson, Joshua Kuebler, with two more great grandchildren on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Cindy Rowe, Sherri Cotter, and niece, Bobbi Jo Marcy for the compassionate care given to Carole during the time spent on hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carole’s family on Monday, October 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Her funeral will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.
