Pannitti, Margaret M.

ALBANY- Margaret (Fiato) Pannitti, 95, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness.

Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Philomena (Sorrentino) Fiato.

Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed her garden, cats, Lady Gaga and trips to Florida. She was a communicant of the former St. James Church in Albany.

Wife of the late Dominick Pannitti; mother of Sandra (Sherri Phillips) Pannitti; sister of the late Josephine Williams, Stephen, Frank, Felix and Palm Fiato. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends whom she enjoyed spending time with.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with Margaret’s family prior to the service from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
