O’Hearn, Lynn S.

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Lynn Sickley O’Hearn 88, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y formerly of Sea Girt, N.J., passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022.

Born in Orange, N.J., Lynn grew up in South Orange, graduated from Columbia High School and attended Connecticut College. She graduated from Interboro Institute in New York City as a bilingual secretary. Lynn worked at Johnson and Johnson in their legal department.

Lynn was a member and past secretary of the Sea Girt, N.J. Fire Co. Ladies auxiliary; member of the Manlius, N.Y. Softball League, and a 20+year member and supporter of the Pittsford, N.Y. YMCA.

Lynn lived her life with grace and dignity and cherished her family and friends. She was particularly proud of her children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Lynn enjoyed following their careers and took great joy in seeing what a close-knit family they have remained.

Her parents, Harold and Mary Sickley, her sister Patricia S. Hulce of Sugar Land, TX and her elder son, John B. O’Hearn, Jr, predeceased Lynn. She leaves her devoted husband of 66 years, John Brian O’Hearn; sons Michael H. (Wendy) of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; and Gregory P. (Heather) of Syracuse, N.Y.; and daughters Sharon M. DeCormier of Kennesaw, GA., and Kelly O. Cardner (David), of Hockessin, DE.; eight beautiful grandchildren Christina, Brian, Tim, Emily, Katie, Chloe, Trevor and Kyliegh; three great-grandsons Peter, Maxwell and Ethan and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Lynn will be held in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Associations (ACT.ALZ.ORG)
