O’Connor, Anna Mae

ALBANY-Anna Mae (Wissler) O’Connor, 96, died Monday, September 26, 2011 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany on October 7, 1914 she was the daughter of the late George and Mae (Tate) Wissler. She was a graduate of Albany High School. Mrs. O’Connor was a secretary at the former Tobin Packing Company in West Albany for 25 Years. She was a long time Communicant and member of the altar rosary society of St. Francis of Assisi Church, (formerly St. James Church).

Wife of the late W. Patrick O’Connor; beloved mother of Joan A. (late Charles) Gaylord of Albany; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Charlie) Hupe and Patrick (Melissa) Gaylord all of Albany; great-grandmother of Meaghan C. Hupe and Caitlin E. Hupe; aunt of Walter (Mary) Nielson. She is also survived by her goddaughter, Jeanette Macri and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Delaware site where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
