On Tuesday February 2, 2021, Jean E. Novak, went home to be with the Lord after a long and beautiful life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many that knew her. Jean is predeceased by her first husband Edward Novak and her second husband Donald Reid. Jean is further predeceased by her sister Lois Down, her brother Edward Heidelmark, her son Alan Novak and granddaughter Martha Novak. Jean is survived by her sister Judith Stevens, and by her children MaryJane Corredera, Susan Novak, Stephen Novak, and Nancy Evans. Jean is also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph Coticchio, Ashley DeBacco, Brooke Coticchio, Taylor Coticchio, Grace Croson, Brian Novak, Daniel Novak, Andrew Novak, Jasmine Elwertowski, Krystal Plaxton, and Amber Davis. Jean is further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She will be forever loved and missed by many of her caregivers including Tammy Zimmerman, Mariah Pimentel, Bridgette Clute, Abby Jones and Paula Riggi.
Her greatest joy in life was seeing the accomplishments and continued growth of her family. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her.
A Mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Pius X Church on 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, New York 12211, on February 9, 2021, at 11 am and is open to her friends and family. Please only enter the church from the main doorway; masks and social distancing are required; church ambassadors will be available to help with seating and questions; and please arrive by 10:45 am. The Mass will be live streamed on St. Pius website at: www.stpiusxloudonville.org
Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
