Moro, Kenneth K.

FRANKLIN, NH – Kenneth K. Moro, 77, formerly of Albany, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 after a long illness.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Severin and Marjorie (Mathews) Moro. Sr. Kenneth was a graduate of Albany High School and the former Albany Business College. He worked as a plumber/pipe fitter in Albany for Local #7 and later in New Hampshire with Local #131, retiring after 50 years of service. He also worked for a time at Ford Motor Co. in Green Island. Mr. Moro was a former parishioner of St. James Church and former member of the Colonie Elks. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Beth (Bomba) Moro; children Michelle Ilyadis of Newfound Lake, NH, Scott (Beth) Moro of Clifton Park and Kristen Moro of Vermont; grandchildren, Alyanna and Alexander Ilyadis, Emily, Meaghan and Izabella Moro; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Taylor; brother, Severin (Claudette) Moro, Jr. of Colonie; several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in the Briarwood Mausoleum at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
