Mooney, Kelly M.

GLENMONT- Kelly (Murphy) Mooney, 40, died suddenly at her home Thursday, February 11, 2010. Born in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of A. Clark Murphy of Delmar and Joyce Van Vorst Murphy of Colonie. Kelly worked as a high school recruiter with Bryant and Stratton College for several years. She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband Roger A. Mooney; her beloved children Brittany L. and Conor A. Mooney both of Glenmont; her step daughter Alexis Anslow; siblings Cindy (Jered) Pereau of Chestertown, NY, Heather (Geoffrey) Murphy of Texas City, TX and Patrick H. Murphy of Newport Beach, CA; her nieces and nephews; Sean and Jessica Murphy and Logan and Evan Posniewski; mother-in-law Brigitte Mooney of Troy; father-in-law Gerald S. Mooney of Little River, SC; sister-in-law Denise (Matthew) Posniewski of Clifton Park.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10am in St. Vincent de Paul Church,900 Madison Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc. 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 4-7 pm. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
