Moloney, Adelaide L.

DELMAR- Adelaide L. Moloney, 85, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 16, 2023 with her loving daughter by her side.

She grew up in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Brockley) Scoons. She was also predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Hines III; and sons Charles E. Hines IV, Jeffrey N. Hines and Scott M. Hines, Sr.

Ade was a beautician who worked all over the Capital Region. She found many niches over the years but her most cherished job was taking care of her family. She had a love for shopping and talking on the phone and could do either one for hours. Her family will miss her calls and her dearly.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kim E. Hines (Sharyn); loving daughter-in-law, Gretchen Haas Hines; loving sisters, Janet Ardizone (Ed), and Mary Hallenbeck (Jack). She will be forever remembered as Meme to her cherished grandchildren, Harley D. Suitto (Linda), Sarah Jane Hines (Gerritt), Scott M. HinesII., Jeffrey C. Hines (Jillian); her great-grandchildren Skylyn Ademarie, Raylee Mae, Leo Charles, Samantha, Ellie and Jeremy. She had a special love for Kari Salerno, J. Patrick Hurley, Adam, Emily, Kelly, Sydney and Kayla; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to the nurses and aides at Schenectady Center Nursing Home for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 9:30 am – 12 pm prior to her funeral service at 12 noonin the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
