Milner, San Jose

ALBANY- San Jose Milner, 54, passed away March 4, 2023. She was born in September of 1968, the beautiful daughter of Gladys Bolden and Charles Ware. She was the loving mother of three sons Chauncey Brantley, Isaac Kamara and Yusef Kamara. She is survived by her maternal brothers and sisters; Tammy Taylor of Wetumpka, Alabama, Samantha Milner-Koonce and Sammy Milner both of Albany; also several paternal brothers and sisters of Wetumpka and Montgomery Alabama. She leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

San Jose was a loving, considerate, and hardworking angel that shared herself and knowledge openly when someone requested a hand. She spent her life serving Catholic Charities, Veterans Affairs, and ended her years of employment as the lead accountant with the NYS Comptroller’s office.

She will be loved and missed by all.

Funeral services Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11 am at Mt. Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 236 N. Pearl St. Albany, with viewing from 10-11 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
