MERGENDAHL, FRANCES M.

ALBANY- Frances (Kubisch) Mergendahl, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Marie Kubisch. Mrs. Mergendahl worked for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle for many years and was a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

She was wife of the late, Ernest Mergendahl; mother of Debra, Barbara and Cathy Mergendahl, Scott First and the late Michael Mergendahl; sister of Rosemary MacDonald, Joanne Murray, William Kubisch and the late Conrad Kubisch, Jr. and Peter Kubisch; She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc. 490 Delaware Ave. thence to the St. James Church, 391 Delaware Ave. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Monday, February 15, 2010 from 4-7 pm. Entombment will follow the Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
