Mehboob Mall

Mehboob Alam Mall was born in Sargodha, Pakistan on September 15, 1945, to Ranga Mall and Mahtab Bibi. Mehboob was the youngest of seven children, which includes: Rakhil(deceased), Maqbool(deceased), Manzoor, Maqsood(deceased), Surriya(deceased), and Saira. Mehboob married Zarina M Mall on December 19, 1973, in Pakistan, with whom he had two children, Shamila Tahir and Michael Mall. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 and was a resident of Albany until 2008 when he moved to Glenmont. He was employed at Albany Medical Center in the Healthcare profession. He was ambitious and worked hard to provide his family with many resources to ensure a stable upbringing. Mehboob enjoyed humanitarian charity work, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a kindhearted man, who was willing to help others. Mr. Mall loved traveling to many destinations with his lovely family. Mr. Mall was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was a devoted follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, and his strong faith was exemplified throughout his life, especially during his illness.

He is survived by his wife Zarina, his elder siblings: Manzoor and Saira, his 2 children: Shamila and Michael, and his 5 grandchildren: Zarka, Zarash, Zaara, Samir, and Sahil.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at 85 Elm Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, August 14th from 3:30-4:30 pm for friends and 4:30-7:30 pm for family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15th at 10 am followed by burial at Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209.
