Mcmahon, Helen H.

ALBANY- Helen H. McMahon, 87, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Hephzibah (Smith) Hawkins. She worked for the NYS Dept. Tax and Finance for many years. Mrs. McMahon was a lifelong member of the First Church in Albany, an active member of the Daughters of the Nile, and a member of the Eastern Star, formerly Ft. Orange Chapter.

Wife of the late William F. McMahon; mother of Holly Allen (Robert Day), William K. McMahon, Thomas R. McMahon, Sr. and Timothy J. McMahon (Joanne); sister of the late Irene Hawkins and Rev. John R. Hawkins, Jr.; sister-in-law of Loretta L. Hawkins; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
