Mckenna, John J.

EAST BERNE- John J. McKenna of East Berne, passed away at home Tuesday, May 04, 2010 after being free of pancreatic cancer for over five years. Born in Bayville, L.I. he was the son of the late Michael McKenna and Mary Sullivan McKenna. John grew up in the Bronx, attending St. Thomas Aquinas School, Rice High School and Iona College. He received his Masters Degree in Spanish from the University of Kansas and his Ph.D from the University of Albany. John
