ALBANY- John J. McGraw, 77, died peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn with his family by his side on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Bertrand and Marie McGraw.

John was a 1963 graduate of CBA. He was employed at National Savings Bank, then Key Bank for 37 years and retired in 1999. He received a degree in Financial Studies from Fairfield University and served in the National Guard.

Jack had the good fortune to have spent 22 years wintering in Pompano Beach, FL and completed 20 cruises. A devoted N.Y. Yankee fan, he was a former bowler and golfer successfully completing a hole in one in Florida. He was a member of the Elks, Lions and Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award.

He was the dear husband of 50 years of Karen Fournier McGraw; brother of Linda McGraw Papa (Ernest) and the late Michael McGraw (Linda); brother-in-law of Robert Fournier of FL He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Jack will be forever loved by his family and friends. A special thanks to St. Peter’s Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Thursday Sept. 23,from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc. 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday Sept. 24,at 10 am at The Parish ofMater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. Masks are required. Inurnment will follow the Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital, 315 So. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208.
