Mcdonald, Robert John

SELKIRK-Robert John McDonald, 62, died suddenly Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Albany Medical Center after being stricken at home.

Born in Rutland, Vt. and raised in Delmar, NY he was the son of the late Robert Joseph and Cecelia Rose (Sullivan) McDonald. Mr. McDonald was veteran of the US Air Force. He was the owner of Bob McDonald Plumbing and Heating in Selkirk.

Survivors include his fiance, Patricia Chapman; two sons, John J. (Leanne) McDonald and Jeff McDonald; two grandsons, Nathan and Tyler McDonald; a brother, Edward McDonald; his former wife, Nancy McDonald; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:15 am on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm.
