MCCALL, MARYLOU W.

DELMAR- Marylou W. McCall, 80, died peacefully, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Forker) Wilkinson and stepmother Rachel P. Wilkinson.

Marylou worked as a chemist for DuPont Chemical in Wilmington but spent most of her years raising her five children. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Marylou was a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and President of the Capital District Literacy League,, the Siena Opera Club and the Quaker Lake Cottagers Assn.

Wife of the late John J. McCall, Jr. mother of Robert (Stephanie) McCall of Castle Rock, CO, Trish (Jim) Coffey of Delmar, Edwin (Shelley) McCall of Salt Lake City, UT and the late John and Matthew McCall; sister of Trisha (Frank) Bloomfield of Costa Mesa, CA, Joan (Stan) Carpenter of Garden Grove, CA and step sister Mary P. Monteith of Philadelphia, PA; sister-in-law of Dolores Needham of Margate, NJ; mother-in-law of Kimberly McCall of Delmar; grandmother of Dain ( Lindsay) Bornhofen, Kelly, Courtney and Gabrielle McCall and Kevin and Casey Coffey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 9:30 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 4-7pm. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054 (check payable to St. Vincent de Paul).
