Martino, Deborah L.

BROOKSVILLE, FL- Deborah L. (Pitcher) Martino of Albany, NY, and Brooksville, FL, passed away on November 10th at the age of 57 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Deborah was born in Watertown, NY, but lived most of her life in Albany, NY attending Albany High School and Orlando Beauty School. For the past several years she lived in Florida during the winter months and spent summers at Lake Ontario, NY.

Debbie was a free spirit. She loved people and lived a full life, making friends everywhere she went and leaving a smile on the faces of everyone she met. Her heart was open to one and all without reservation. She enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband, Michael Martino, Sr., camping and fishing at Lake Ontario, and spending time making memories with her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren, and particularly spending time with them at Lake Ontario. The love she had for her family was unmeasurable. She will truly be missed by many.

Debbie was predeceased by her brother Frank Pitcher and her nephew Jeremiah Pitcher, her paternal grandparents, Della and Donald Barnes and her maternal grandmother, Gladys Hartz.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 32 years Michael Martino Sr., her mother Gayle Hartz, Albany, NY, her father Robert F. Pitcher, Watertown, NY, her four sons Jason Bishop (Kelly), Albany, NY, Shane Bishop (Sue), Earlton, NY, Michael Martino Jr. (Traci), Tampa, FL, and Nikolas Martino (Krystal), Albany, NY, her brother Robert J. Pitcher (Tracy) and her sister Jaye Cummings (Don), 11 grandchildren, Anthony, Annalees, Jackson, Andrew, Jaina, Taylor, Maya, Aryah, James Patrick, Isabella Rosa Lynn and Mila Rose; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog and loyal companion Maddie.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 28th, from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY with a service at 6:30 pm.
