KATY, TX-
Charles L. Marshall passed away on December 2, 2009 in Katy, TX
after a short illness, surrounded by his family. He was born in Shirley, Arkansas on Feb 6, 1921. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp in the Pacific Theatre in WW II. Mr. Marshall worked as a Sheet Metal worker for Local 83 in Albany until his retirement. He was a faithful servant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where he served as head usher for many years. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 173 in Albany. He donated many hours to Cathedral Academy, Cardinal McCloskey and Bishop Maginn High Schools.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary and his son-in-law Robert Kenyon. He is survived by his children, Mary Seabridge of Albany, Nancy Kenyon of Las Vegas, NV, Alma Nicoletti (Nick) of Katy, TX, David Marshall (Gloria Romano) of Albany, Don Marshall (Teresa) of Aurora, CO, Gail Guajardo (Ray) of Houston, TX and Cheryl Rennick of Wynantskill and 17 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 from 4-8 pm in the Daniel Keenan
Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 10 am Saturday, December 12, 2009 at St. James Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany .
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Restoration Fund for the Cathedral of the
Immaculate Conception Church, 125 Eagle St.,Albany, NY 12202 in memory of Charles Marshall.
