Marcil, Patrick T.

ALBANY - Patrick T. Marcil, 92, of Albany, passed away peacefully with his wife Jean by his side on March 13, 2021.

Born in Green Island, he was the son of the late Mitchell “Jimmy” and Irene (McGrath) Marcil. Patrick was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

At one time he worked for many years as an Insurance Salesman for the Paul Revere Insurance Company and then for Mutual of Omaha both in Albany.

Patrick truly enjoyed gardening, hunting and driving his red Cadillac. Pat was also a member of the Watervliet Elks Lodge #1500.

Patrick is survived by his wife of over 50 years Jean and his siblings: Allan (Danielle), Irene, Janet and Dawn as well as his sister in law Fanny, several nieces and nephews and his loving caregivers Kim,Feebee and Q.

He is predeceased by his brother Joseph LeRoy Marcil.

Funeral services for Pat will be celebrated on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Mausoleum at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave., Menands.
