Magee, Charles H. Sr.

ALBANY- Charles H. Magee, Sr., 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his home. Born, April 8, 1933 in Albany, he was son of the late John Henry and Ellen (Fitzgerald) Magee.

Mr. Magee worked at Burdick & Son for 25 years until its closing. He then worked for many years at the Ann Lee Nursing Home, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Moose Lodge since 1977. Charlie was very proud of his Irish heritage. He is survived by his loving companion, Patricia Murphy Cazasta; his children Charles (Mary), John (Darlene), Steven (Darlene) Magee, and Debra (Kenneth) Freer; as well as several grandchildren; his brother, Joseph (Evelyn) Magee and sister, Marion (Richard) LaChance. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Marvin and David Magee and his sisters, Dorothy Lange and Delores Lesnick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:30 am in All Saints Catholic Church,(formerly St. Margaret Mary
