Maclutsky, Dorothy E.

ALBANY- Dorothy E. (Lasher) Maclutsky, 98, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Born in Albany and a graduate of St. Ann’s, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jean (McCarthy) Lasher.

Mrs. Maclutsky was a homemaker and a longtime communicant of St. John’s-St. Ann’s Church in the South End. She was a kind and gentle mother, grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank V. Maclutsky, son, Michael Maclutsky and three sisters, Jean Lombardo, Ruth Commisso and June Nava.

Survivors include her two sons, James (JoAnn) Maclutsky of Colonie and Donald (Cindy) Maclutsky of Delmar; three grandsons, David (Cathy), Brian (Jackie) and Jeffrey (Kellyn) Maclutsky; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabrielle and Emery; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes for her care.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dorothy’s family on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 9 to 10 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, followed by her funeral Mass at 10:30 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church South End Site, Corner of Fourth Ave. and Franklin Street, Albany. Burial will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
