Lucille A. Hilson

Heaven has gained another angel, Lucille A. Hilson, 76, of Colonie passed away on April 15, 2024, at St. Peter’s Hospice with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany on September 12, 1947, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Theresa (Flannigan) Carr.

Survived by her loving husband of 60 years John Hilson and her children John (Pauline) Hilson Jr. and Susan (Glenn) Forman. By her brother Charles (Carolyn) Carr, nieces Theresa (Tee Dee) Kruzinski and Kathy (Mike) Santiago. Also, by her grandsons Michael Fink and Shane Fink, great grandsons Ricky Fink and Connor Fink, and by her dear friend Rose (Francis) Pitts.

Besides her parents Lucille is predeceased by her sisters Teresa Kruzinski and Catherine (Cappy) Ostrander.

During her lifetime Lucille loved gardening, garage sales, shopping at Boscov’s, spending time with her grandchildren and she adored Missy her favorite pet.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday April 18, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Daniel Keenan Funeral home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 19, 2024, at 10:30 am in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, NY 12211. Burial will follow in the family plot of the St. Agnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lucille can be made to Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208.
