Loveland, Lucille A.

ALBANY- Lucille A. (Kasparian) Loveland passed away peacefully Monday, June 05, 2017 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (LoPonto) Kasparian. Lucille graduated from of Cardinal McCloskey High School, and she worked for the NYS Department of Education, Professional Licensing for over 35 years where she made life-long friends along the way. Lucille loved to travel especially trips to Atlantic City with her dear friend Lucy.

Beloved sister of Christine K. (David) Essex; devoted aunt of Dennis C. (Maria) Drozd, Mark A. Drozd and Kimberly (John) Palella; loving great-aunt “Nu Nu” to Mariana, Nina, Johnny and Emilia Palella and Nicholas and Georgianna Drozd. She is also survived by many cousins, her former husband and friend Robert Loveland, and many nieces and nephews from the McDonald/Loveland families.

A special thank you to all of Lucille’s family and friends who sat by her side for the last two months.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 9:45 am from the funeral home thence to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl. Delmar where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.. Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
