Losert, Kathleen E.

ALBANY-Kathleen (Cleary) Losert, 46, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Pearl (Chadderdon) Cleary.

Kathleen was a 1984 graduate of Colonie Central High School and earned her degree from National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology. She worked as a teacher’s aide at BOCES and for many years taught sign language at the College of Saint Rose. She enjoyed arts and crafts; beading, sewing and painting, however her greatest joy was taking care of her family.

Wife of 22 years of Brian M. Losert; mother of Brandon R. and Kerry E. Losert, all of Albany; sister of Colleen Cleary of Twinsburg, OH, Michael Cleary of Altamont and Stephen (Nancy) Cleary of Glenmont; niece of Donald Cleary of Guilderland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m.
